19 of the Russian's 21 victories have been achieved on hard surfaces
A comeback Medvedev claimed his maiden trophy for 882 days with success over opponent Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The Russian, a ex- world number one, has experienced a torrid season, managing just one match at the major tournaments and experiencing a difficult moment at the New York tournament.
The player's varied form on the professional circuit - and difficulties with his serving in particular - caused him falling of the top ten and ultimately parting ways with former mentor Gilles Cervara.
Now working with Thomas Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has gradually advanced in the past month - peaking in a closely contested three-set win over challenger Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's maiden trophy after the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hard court since that period of that year.
Success also indicates Medvedev has won 21 titles at twenty-one distinct events.
"For the first time I'm at a tournament with my both daughters at once, so to win a trophy is particularly special," commented ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This victory is in tribute of my child my daughter, because the maiden victory I got when my older daughter her name was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the 2021 US Open champion, had been defeated in his previous six title deciders, comprising in Halle earlier this year.
The player's defensive approach and regular emotional displays on court had prompted commentators to question if his ability to perform at the top level was over.
But the athlete has altered his approach in recent weeks, striving to come to the net and compete assertively, reinforced by an better service.
The champion came back from a break down in the first set against the difficult opponent, winning 4 of the concluding five exchanges to go ahead.
The competitors traded breaks in the middle set before Moutet, striving for his maiden professional victory, gained dominance to create a decider.
Moutet saved four initial break points in a close deciding set before the Russian broke to that score to serve for the match.
Fittingly, Medvedev earned victory with a shot at the front of the court, with Moutet failing to handle a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
